Russian plants of construction and road engineering produced machinery for the 1st quarter of 2023 for a total amount of 19.9 billion rubles. This is 30% more than in the same period of 2022.

Shipments to the domestic market of Russia for this period amounted to 17.7 billion rubles. This is 24% more than in the 1st quarter of 2022.

The demand for Russian road construction equipment is growing. The decline in sales is recorded only in a number of segments.

In quantitative terms, in the 1st quarter of 2023, shipments of excavators increased by 5.9 times, pipe-laying cranes – by 3 times, mini-loaders – by 22%, rollers – by 14%, front-end loaders – by 1%.

Shipments of backhoe loaders in quantitative terms in January-March 2023 decreased by 73%, cranes-manipulators - by 23%, graders – by 22%, tracked bulldozers – by 19%.
